Tree Pipit, Anthus trivialis, is a species of passerine bird in the wagtail and pipit family found in heathland and shrub and woodland and forest ecosystems. It is a widespread summer visitor to most of Europe. This species breeds in woodland edges, open woodland, cleared woodland and young conifer plantations, often with isolated remaining tall trees. It also uses heathland or grassland with developing scrub and trees (European Red List 2015).
